The Weston High Girls Basketball program is dedicated to making a difference in its local community. When not in the classroom or in athletic competition, our student athletes are committed to making a difference in Weston through many outreach programs. The program which the girls basketball program has started is called C.A.T.S. (Community Appreciation Through Sports). Our student athletes participate in a wide-range of service and outreach in and around the Weston community.
While away from the courts, our student athletes are putting hard work into the academics and they are committed to spreading the word of the importance of education and making good decisions. Our C.A.T.S. program goal is to reach out to the youth of the community through reading at local elementary schools, visiting local playgrounds, working with students and future student-athletes at camps and clinics and more.

Goals of the C.A.T.S. Program
- Reach out to the elementary schools in Weston and collaborate for a day of learning with the youth of the community helping the younger students with schoolwork while explaining the important of tolerance and being a good role model
- Participate and help out at the practices of youth basketball teams, especially our Middle School teams and youth travel teams
